About Twonks
Twonks is a funny, offbeat webcomic series combining rude and twisted humour with a cast of cute but ultimately stupid characters. It was created by illustrator and cartoonist Steve Nelson in 2023 and has already built up a large following online (currently over 240k followers). 

About Steve

Steve Nelson is a UK-based artist specialising in funny, colourful illustrations, cartoons and comics.

Starting as a stand up comedian at 18 years old, he turned his attention to writing comedy for TV and radio with credits including BBC’s Newsjack, The Show What You Wrote, Watson & Oliver and ITV’s Off Their Rockers. He eventually landed his own series, an Audible Originals comedy called The Temp. Released in 2019 it was the last project he worked on before Covid hit. 

During the pandemic, Steve turned his attention to drawing and quickly gained a big following online. For the past 2 years he has been providing funny cartoons for a big advertising campaign for Confused.com with his work appearing weekly on the front of national newspapers and ITV's Emmerdale.
